Cute Quilts...

Here are a few photos of our quilts we set up for our etsy shop. My favorite one is the bottom one, which I haven't showed you all yet, but will soon. Quilting is SO fun! I kind of ignored this craft for may years, because I know what an addict I am. I knew I would love it and get into it, and buy myself a nerdy plaque that says "she who dies with the most fabric wins." (I do not have the plaque (...yet). But once I started going to cute quilt and fabric shops instead of large chain stores for my fabrics, I had to start. Now I LOVE quilting and sewing. It is so fun to create.

I should take a new photo with more of our quilts and have the rocking chair stacked really high, but our quilts are on quilt shop walls. Megan and I finally went out and got our patterns into more shops. It is really exciting. We are still just local, but are working on that. Let us know if you see our quilts or patterns in shops near you.

This last one is our "TUTU pretty" quilt. It has a lot of applique, but is SO pretty. This is from an older Amy Butler line, but would work with so many prints. It has the feel of a scrappy quilt. And it is SO girly with crowns and wands and butterfly's. Any girl would LOVE it! (and not just little girl.)

Let us know what craft or crafts you have become addicted to. (maybe you can give us some ideas.) Also, come check out our etsy shop. We LOVE visitors. Also, join us as our followers. We promise to have more fun crafty posts...and posts that come more often. Thanks!

A New Quilt Pattern

This is the greatest quilt for a little boy! My Oliver loves the ear and tail that hang from the doggy, it is so cute. There are so many cute quilts out there for little girls, and now finally one for your little Mr! The applique is pretty simple and easy, the pieces aren't too intricate. The quilt features snails, a snake and a dog. My favorite squares, the argyle. We love argyle, it's underrated. And the pattern has a really easy to follow instructions and diagram on those squares. I especially love it for little boys as you can see here in my boy's bedroom.
We hope you love this quilt, we sure loved putting it together!

AND it's ready for purchase now :)

Thrifty cute Finds....

Thrifty Decor Chick is doing a goodwill linky party. She has some AMAZING stuff that she has got from GOodwill and turned into treasures. Go check her out. Here are my finds. That cute little terra cotta pot and flowers on the shelf I got from Goodwill years ago. I had to put them together, but it was a cute little inexpensive craft for my girls room...
Second, these pillows I made. The cute little aprons on the dresses were from DI (check for Deseret Industries in your town, the same as Goodwill, but I like it better.) Anyhow, I saw some adorable pillows at a cute boutique for $80. Then I came across these aprons and I knew exactly what to do with them. I still have these pillows, they are getting rather raggedy...

These photos are actually from a couple of years ago when we lived in Arizona.
