Over at the Inspired room there was a little before and after challenge for all the procrastinators out there.
My first project...this cute hat. My second knit hat, here is my first knit hat. I have been wanting to learn to knit for a while, and I am finally doing it. Love my little cute nephew more than the hat though.... and I made myself a promise, must finish completely a knit project before starting a new one!
My second project are these cardboard magazine boxes I got from target $1 spot like 7 months ago because I could recover them cute. Finally after like $8 in decorator papers (I sort of messed up and didn't cut out for opposite sides of the box...they are done. All I did to cover them was decopauge...may favorite! Not a cheap project, but love the finished result...
the Hat is adorable- makes me wish I knew how to knit better-
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your project-
I love them!! The hat is Darling and those boxes are cute, love the papers you used! Thanks for Sharing!
ReplyDeleteWoW!!! the hat really fits and it's adorable. The paper boxes? awww... I have several but didn't think of remodelling them. §:-))
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. You give me a job to now, eh? Cheers...
Great job, indeed!
Love the projects! I need to cover some boxes, too.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! In this order...the nephew, the hat and the boxes. I don't know how you get it all done with 4 little girls, and a BOY on the way. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteSo, do you just decoupage, or what? The boxes look great. The little things help finish the room, don't they?
ReplyDeleteAnytime that one gets the project for the little one before he's eighteen is great...cute hat! Cute nephew. I really like your organizers, too, and now I want to have some for my craft and sewing room.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute hat! And your craft holder looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYour nephew in that hat looks like a magazine shot. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteOrganizers that are pretty??? Love them! Maybe I could get organized with something like that! lol
That hat is cute, but your nephew is cuter. LOL! I love the magazine boxes too. I have some plain black ones that could use some paper on them, but I never think to do it! Maybe now I will.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is SO cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the paper you found for your magazine holders. I haven't seen those at the dollar spot. I think I need to go to target.
Adorable!! Both the boy and the hat! :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea--I have many of those boxes but they are ugly and I always want to toss them! Your nephew is adorable in the hat. Doesn't it feel great to finish a project?
ReplyDeleteYour had it so cute. I'm an intermediate knitter and I always try to do something new with each project. It makes it a challenge to start off, but I'm always so pleased with myself afterwards. Your magazine holders are very cute. That's one of those projects that are simple, but make a big difference.
ReplyDeleteThe hat turned out so cute. And your nephew is pretty adorable as well. Especially with the hat on. And the magazine bins turned out super. I love the paper you put on them. How come I didn't see those boxes in the Target dollar spot? I miss all the good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is awesome! My husband is the knitter in our family. He's been knitting tons of baby hats for all the people we know having babies soon. I never saw the magazine holders at Target! I love them. You made them look like a million bucks. :)
ReplyDeleteSmall but DONE! I'm impressed and the boxes are ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteYour nephew is the most adorable baby I have ever seen!!! I love the papers on the boxes too, cute little birdies.
ReplyDeleteThat hat is too cute and the little head in it is pretty adorable too!
ReplyDeleteLove the boxes, they are really fun!
Thanks for joining in the party!
