This hat is Sweet pea. Isn't it cute? I use 100% cotton for most of my hats. I don't like the itchy wool and don't want to put it on a baby that can't take it off if it bothers him. This one was for sure one of my favorites. You can find the pattern here.
Here is my funny girl with her funny "alien spaceship" hat. She loves this hat, and everyone comments on it everywhere she goes.
This one I made up after I felt skilled enough after making like 10 hats. It is super sweet. I think I may remake it bigger because it is so cute.
REmember Ya'll, Megan and I did all this knitting in the last year. And all we knew how to do was cast on and knit stitch. And when we got stuck, we did not go to our dear granny, or the sweet lady down the street, we went to you tube. I learned EVERYTHING from the internet, and not from a real life human. You can do this too!!! (If you want to that is...)
PS Partying with A Soft Place to Land, The Girl Creative, Made by you Mondays, It's so Very Cheri, Reinvented, We are THAT family, Blue Cricket Design, Finding Fabulous , AmyLouWho, and

I love all of them! Can you please share where you found the patterns? I'd like to try and make the sweet pea in a pod one! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI really want to learn...but didn't know how to start...off to youtube I go!!
ReplyDeleteI love all those H, they turned out fab. It's true, I learned almost everything from youtube, I would put in a line from a pattern that didn't make sense and some video would show me how. Love technology.
ReplyDeleteOH these are sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou girlies are SO inspiring!!
I love that you learned how to knit watching youtube. ha ha. I have been trying to learn the same way. I figured out how to cast on, and I think I figured out the knit stitch. I guess I just need to get brave. (I am a crocheter, and for whatever reason knitting just seems so foreign!) anyhow, very cute...maybe I will give it another go...
ReplyDeletethose hats and kiddos are adorable!
