Nadine from Material girls was offering this Free Spirit Darla line for 33% off, and I went and bought tons! I have been wanting some, but when she had the sale, I had to go get lots and lots! Hopefully you will see alot of crafts from this fabric...
This is the Claire Peasant Dress from Sandi Henderson. LOVE IT! I was SO scared of the shirring, but it is SUPER easy and worked way better than I thought. If you are scared of it, don't be. Sandi has a great tutorial on her website http://www.portabellopixie.typepad.com/
She makes EVERYTHING cuter!
So what cute clothing projects have YOU made, or do you aspire to make?

You are a super star! Those turned out absolutely adorable, and I want to see Sophie in hers. Can I please please live near you again? And can I please please have a girl someday..
Sew super cute and Addie is just ADORABLE!
Wow, are they cute dresses, and I love the Silly Girl photos, too cute!
These are so cute! I love the Darla fabrics so much!!! Can't wait to get some of my own to play with ;) I'd love to see more photos of your gir's room decor too - the yellow shelf & the quilt in the photo of your daughter are so sweet!(and so is she - you are right... cute little girls make weverything cuter ;)

Oh, wow, that's adorable. I'm going to have to learn how to sew one of these day, my only experience with fabric is gluing it to foam board! I think I just bought a piece of that larger rose pattern, it's just lovely.
Congrats on your boy! We have 2 of each, they're so different.
The best fabric!! Congrats on having a little boy - they are super fun, different than girls, but super fun.
Love the dress, it is darling ... although not as darling as that sweet little girl!
Isn't making little girls' dresses fun? I made ALL my girls' clothes when they were young (they are now 21 and 23 -- past the age of Mommy clothes!). I even made "Sunday" coats, and play clothes. I loved every minute of it, it was never work!
The only downside was, they had too many outfits!
I hope you get to pass along outgrown dresses from one daughter to the next. Mine were too close in age to do that, so my sister and I swapped kids' clothes, as she has 4 daughters.
The nursery looks fab! Good job... lovely room. You have an excellent design sense.

Those dresses are so cute! They look like you bought them from a boutique for hundreds of dollars! Jen
Those are super adorable! Congrats on #5! Will you know what to do with baby boy blue after all those little girls? We have 5 too. It's chaotic but fun.
These dresses are sooooo cute! I don't think I've been to your blog before today (popping over from Thrifty Decor Chick) but I'm sure coming back! :-)
Oh how adorable! Cute little girls make EVERYTHING cuter :)
By the way, the paint color on my bedroom walls is a blue/gray/silver color...it is Anonymous by Behr...in case you wanted to know :)
Oh, and congratulations on having a boy! Boys are fun too! (We had two boys and then our girl...there is definitely a difference between them!)
Blessings!
I squealed. :D
Those colors are so fresh and complement each other so well!
she is a doll!!
These are so adorable! I'll have to try this style for my girls.
Just gorgeous!
I adore those dresses! Totally my style. In fact if you're bored, head over to my craft blog and look around. I have some "Shabby chic" apron twirly skirts made of similar fabric and they are adorable :P)
